This is a luxury holiday Villa, cocooned behind the ancient Cape Fold Mountains on the waters edge of the Hermanus Lagoon. It offers a peaceful and luxurious getaway for families, small groups, special events and those in search of rare solitude.

The Villa, situated just outside the holiday town of Hermanus (4km away), is a haven from the hustle of this pretty holiday town. Open your door wide to breakfast on your private terrace and enjoy the views across the expansive garden that rolls down to the lagoon. There, a boat awaits to take you cruising. Your kids are already exploring the tree house or enjoying a game of tennis. Consider a gym workout, a mountain hike, a massage or simply enjoy a glass of bubbles.

This is your time, your retreat.
The House style is opulent and gracious, but never formal. Kids can run free, adults can linger over meals and savour the peace. This is a home to love and live in, to celebrate and laugh in.

We offer very high quality luxury holiday villa accommodation. There are four Luxury Family Suites and two Luxury Garden Suites. These suites can accommodate 12 adults (2 adults sharing per suite). In addition, the four Luxury Family Suites can accommodate 2 children in each suite’s adjoining room (8 children).
All suites are equipped with the following items for your comfort:
- Large flat-screen digital TV, satellite TV, Complimentary Wi-Fi connection & a writing desk
- Air-conditioning and under floor heating
- 100% percale linen, and king-size, extra-length beds
- Large, luxurious bathrooms, with heated towel rails, separate toilet and bidet
- Exterior doors that open to a private terrace
- The suites all have lagoon or garden & mountain views
- A safe for your valuables, a dressing room, mini bar and tea & coffee-making facilities and Separate dressing room
- Luxury amenities (including gowns, slippers & toiletries)

The Luxury Family Suite offers a main suite, which has a king-size bed, and adjoining room which has two single beds.
The family suites sleep 2 adults sharing and 2 children sharing. It has a lovely entrance hall and one separate bathroom. The ground-level suite opens to a garden and the upper floor opens to views of the Lagoon. The small lounge area is equipped with a kitchenette.

Our on -site chef provides all inclusive dining experience. She has a special love of pastries, so ask her to rustle up her popular layered cheesecake with red velvet cake! The Chef's knowledge of local wines is extensive and she’ll be happy to arrange a wine tasting from the local estates for you.
Breakfasts often happen around the pool in summer. Enjoy a continental breakfast or a hot cook-up.
Want to spend a day on the beach? Let us know and we’ll arrange a picnic. We also offer delicious wraps, burgers, salads and poolside kids’ meals. Dinners options include: a casual barbecue, a candlelit dinner at our long table or a cheese-and-fruit platter by the fire with great wines.

We can cater for small functions: A Full-time staff provide full service.

There are many things to do at the Villa: Paddle the lagoon or just laze by the pool. There are two pools – one on the wind-free mountain side of the estate, and the other overlooking the lagoon, Kids’ jungle gym, games room & movies... Note that the pools are not covered. However, if you have toddlers and you have booked exclusive use of the all Suites, the nets can be put on. Important to note that the lagoon can not be covered or fenced and is easily accessible.

Enjoy a good book in the library.
Arrange a wine tasting over lunch or request a picnic at the lagoon. You could stroll down to the jetty with your kids and some fishing tackle to try your luck.
Take the boat across the lagoon to Grotto Beach. Kayaks are available for complimentary use, and the power-boat can be arranged on request for excursions and to explore the lagoon, weather and tide permitting, at an additional charge. Life jackets are available. Sunset cruises, skiing and tubing can be arranged.
Get active: play tennis on our floodlit court: We provide adult and kids’ rackets and tennis balls so you can enjoy late summer matches or some fun with your kids. Your children will love climbing the suspension bridge built between the trees. The tree house is a magical place for kids, who use their imaginations to transform it into a fort, a base, a fairy house or a secret bunker in the trees.

Bounce on the trampolines.
There is a games and TV room for rainy days or just chilling, there’s large 3D digital TV with a full suite of satellite TV channels. There are many old-fashioned games to entertain children, including lawn croquet, a cricket set and pool toys.
The putting green and chipping bunker offer a wonderful opportunity to practice your golf. Both adult and children’s putters are available.
The small gym is equipped with a treadmill, cycling machine & weights.

Hermanus offers something for everyone:
See the whales (by kayaking up close, or from the cliff paths in Hermanus, or by boat (they visit between July and November).
Enjoy some pamper time at the nearby spa or request a therapist to visit your suite.
Play golf at world class courses (Arabella and Hermanus Golf Club), Dive with sharks. (Trips leave from Gansbaai, a 35-minute drive away.) Enjoy shopping, restaurants and Saturday markets in pretty Hermanus. Taste great wines in the Hemel en Aarde (Heaven and Earth) Valley. Go hiking and mountain biking in the fynbos-covered mountains.
