Berry Hill Gardens B&B is off the beaten path yet only 7 miles from Bainbridge, Afton or Oxford Villages, NY. It is a country Bed and Breakfast situated high on a hilltop overlooking miles of the rural beauty of New York's Central Leatherstocking region, near the Finger Lakes Trail System.
There are extensive herb and perennial gardens with hundreds of plant varieties for the guests to stroll in. Plants are available for sale as are dried flowers and wreaths.
The house is a restored 1820's farmhouse furnished with early American antiques. There is a large Great Room for guests to relax in with a wood burning stove to cozy up to after cross country skiing and a wrap around porch to view the countryside.
A full country breakfast is served. You can enjoy hiking and bird watching on our 180 acres or try to catch the beavers in the act of making a new dam on our Federally Protected Wetlands area.
We are less than 1/4 mile from the Finger Lakes Trail system. We are 3 1/2 hours from New York City, 45 minutes from Cooperstown and most of the area colleges. |
