Magnificent house with private pool and panoramic view set in the middle of the Chiana Valley. The former manor house has been tastefully furnished. The heart of the house is a large open living room divided by arches, with seating area, fireplace, library, dining area and well equipped kitchen. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor: each has ensuite bathroom and direct access to the garden. On the first floor there is a bright salon with TV-SAT and four bedrooms with ensuite bathroom. In front of the house you can dine on the shady terrace with barbecue. In the pool area there are more terraces and a pool house with shower and toilet. From here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the Chiana Valley with its countless beautiful places: the old town of Cortona (25 km) in hilly position; south'west the small city of the wine, Montepulciano (25 km) and the famous Renaissance town of Pienza (32 km); Arezzo with its interesting city center and the big antiques fair (on the first Sunday of each month) is at 28 km only and Siena, with its wonderful square Piazza del Campo at 40 km. The slightly hilly Chiana Valley is attractive for those who like biking: the Canale Maestro crosses the valley. Lake Trasimeno, with child-friendly beaches, is at 30 km; from here it is possible to take a boat to the small islands.
