« This thatched-roof cottage is a great choice when you want to relax on the East coast. Firstly, you have a perfect beach just under your doorstep which is empty most of the time. Moreover it's the best part of the beach - no rocks, no wavebreaks. If you feel like that you can walk to public beach in Blue Bay in 10 minutes but it's much more comfortable to stay at your place. Secondly, the house is full of charm. The equipment is not new but is functional and fully sufficient. A housemaid comes every morning and so do fruit/vegetable and fish vendors, if you wish. A big supermarket in Mahebourg is 10 mins drive, so you can stock on your BBQ easily. The property is very close to the airport but you don't get much noise - there is a couple of planes during the day and nothing at night, so don't worry. The lady who owns the house lives not far away and we were given really warm welcome. All and all, I highly recommend this place. »
