The cabin is perfect for a relaxing stay, especially for a couple or small family. It's clean, cozy, and warm, with just what you need. We've stayed there twice now, both times for a ski weekend up at Mt Baker. The hot tub (which is immaculate) is welcome after a day on the slopes. We enjoyed being "off the grid" without our usual electronic tethers of cellphones and computers. We watched a couple of movies after dark, though, on the DVD. (Note: it's a small screen) The management team are awesome, too. Will go back to this cabin, for sure. Dub, Seattle
I booked this cabin as a romantic get away from the city. The house is very nice, the hot tub is super nice, and it was very clean and well maintained. Where I take issue, there wasn't clear disclosure about it's level of privacy. The house is in a gated residential community. It literally has 15 feet of clearance on either side with adjacent homes and 25 feet behind the home is Mt. Baker Highway. From the hot tub there is a door to another home maybe 10 feet away. Thank goodness know one was there so we had some level of quiet. I think the home would better fit a family with one or two kids (the community offers many amenities- tennis, pool, fishing, hiking (stunning vistas), large open playing field, kids playground, and volleyball.
