Elegantly furnished and very comfortable, this 18th century Chateau will delight lovers of old residences. Combining the charm of yesteryear and modern comfort, its Burgundy stone, its fireplaces and its antique furniture give it a unique atmosphere. Its spectacular courtyard, its circulations of water and its woods with impenetrable thickets, add to the majesty and charm of the place.
The Château is a haven of peace where you can relax peacefully.
7 bedrooms for two people. in the castle (5 with private bathroom) + independent accommodation ("the coachman's house") for 4 people.
The main castle includes a basement (vaulted cellars, cooler), a ground floor comprising a series of reception rooms, extended by a wing housing the living rooms. The 5 main bedrooms are on the first floor, the children's bedrooms being located on half floors suitable for hide and seek games.
The north wing of the castle, which communicates with the central body, includes an entrance, a small TV lounge, a dining room, an office, a WC, a large kitchen, a scullery, an office, a staircase leading to a double bedroom with a private bathroom with bathtub and separate WC (the Secret Room).
The central body of the castle organizes around the main entrance.
South of the main entrance is the library, then the music room, a lounge, a large red lounge opening onto a terrace with colonnades on the south side. At the rear of this living room, on the west side, a vestibule also opening onto the terrace, a charming boudoir, a staircase leading to a children's room on the second floor.
North of the main entrance: a living room classified as a historical monument, "the Sanctuary of Madness" created by Hubert Robert, currently being restored, converted into a large dining room, and a billiard room. At the rear, west side: a hallway and passageways, a hidden staircase leading to the first floor.
The main staircase starts at the entrance and leads you to the first floor, which has 4 large bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Two toilets are located in the hallway.
The Blue Room is equipped with a 160 cm double bed in alcove, and a dressing room with a bathroom with shower.
The Golden Room includes two single beds of 90x200 convertible into a large double bed of 180x200, a bathroom with shower and a dressing room.
The Green Room offers two single beds of 90x200 convertible into a large double bed of 180x200, a large dressing room with wardrobe and shelves and a bathroom with bathtub.
The Flower Room is equipped with a 160x200 double bed in an alcove, a dressing room and a bathroom with spa bath.
The coachman's house is an independent accommodation, located in the outbuildings, which includes: a porch furnished with an outdoor lounge, a living-dining room equipped with a sofa bed for two people, an equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a separate toilet, a dressing room, a bathroom with a bathtub. It can accommodate 4 people.
A ping-pong table, outdoor games (croquet, molkky, pétanque, ...), exploring the woods of the castle where you can meet deer or rabbits, maybe a doe, bikes for children and adults, are all activities available at the Château.
A catering service can also prepare and deliver breakfasts, meals & dinners for all guests (on request and at an additional cost).
A place that is both charming and functional, the neighborhood and the village are very peaceful. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful, in the heart of the French countryside and the Champagne vineyards of the "Côte des Bar", in the south-east of the Department of Aube, near Bar-sur-Seine.
Erected in the middle of a splendid 13 hectare park comprising woods and gardens, the Château de Villemorien, classified as a Historic Monument, invites you to dream, to rest and to discover the art of living and the riches of the region.
The region is rich in tourism resources and activities. The Bar-sur-Seine Tourist Office will be happy to present them to you and organize, if you wish, visits (with or without a guide) of the various monuments and remarkable sites, as well as tastings in local restaurants. Champagne cellars, cooking workshops ...; it will also give you the best addresses for local producers and the resources for restaurants and inns. Complete documentation will be at your disposal at the Château.
Bar-sur-Seine (10 km): Charming little town, very well endowed with food shops and various boutiques, with a pretty old town center. Not to be missed: "the Renaissance house" at the corner of rue de la République.
The Cordelière golf course in Chaource (12 km): backing onto the forest, and ranked among the most beautiful golf courses in France, the Cordelière golf course, former property of the Comtes Chandon de Briailles, unfolds its 18-hole course over a a vast carpet of gently undulating greenery, dotted with ponds and hundred-year-old trees.

Troyes (33 km): - a perfectly restored historic pedestrian center where it is good to stroll, dozens of churches, the Maison de l'Outil et de la Pensée Ouvrière, the Museum of Fine Arts and Archeology, factory outlets (Mc Athur Glen Troyes, Marques Avenues Troyes ...) Lac de la Forêt d'Orient - Mesnil Saint-Père (25km away): Water sports and swimming, Nigloland (37 km away): amusement park , open from April to October.
