This contemporary villa, just a stone's throw from the charming village of Sommières, is a haven for families and friends who want to relax in total privacy, with all the luxuries needed for a fantastic holiday.

The Villa is set over two levels, overlooking a beautiful and serene garden, with its saltwater swimming pool and shaded terrace. The terrace is equipped with garden furniture for up to 8 people, allowing family and friends to gather together to enjoy the warm summer evenings on the French coast. The nearby outdoor dining area (also seating 8) allows you to enjoy meals by the water, thanks to the summer kitchen with its plancha and barbecue. As well as relaxing by the pool, meeting on the terrace and enjoying the shade of the olive trees and hundred-year-old pines, there are plenty of facilities to keep young and old occupied: from table tennis to trampolines, not forgetting a game of pétanque on the specially laid-out pitch.

The Villa opens onto a large entrance hall with a piano and storage space. The living space comprises a number of different areas, starting with the lounge with its large sofa, armchairs, television and contemporary decor, followed by a dining area with tables and armchairs for 8 guests, and finally a modern, fully-equipped kitchen (coffeemaker, kettle, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, etc.) with a large central island and 5 other areas. The whole area is bright and airy thanks to the large bay windows that let in light throughout the day and give direct access to the terrace and swimming pool. The ground floor also offers other amenities in its laundry room, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, etc.

The ground floor is also home to the master bedroom with its underfloor cooling system, dressing room and en-suite bathroom with shower and bath. With its savannah aesthetic and direct access to the garden, this room exudes tranquillity. Upstairs, the secondary lounge has large windows offering stunning views of the landscaped gardens, pool and wooden pergola. It connects to the other 5 bedrooms upstairs: 4 are doubles and 1 is a single child's bedroom. These bedrooms share two modern, well-lit shower rooms. Finally, the upper floor contains shelves with dozens of board games for all ages, enough to keep the whole family occupied for hours.

Although this is not necessarily necessary as most of the shops are within walking distance (village market, bakery, grocery shop, pharmacy, etc.), the Villa does have a garage for one car. In fact, the villa is just a stone's throw from the medieval centre of the village of Sommières, famous not only for being the regional centre for leather and linen, but also for being home to vineyards and fully organic olive oil producers. What's more, its Roman aqueducts, medieval fortress (which you can climb to get a view of the whole Vidourle valley) and Saturday farmers' market will fill the villa with charm.
