This villa is a fully renovated traditional Provençal residence located in the Aiguelongue district, north of Montpellier. The area is renowned for its verdant landscapes, clean air and lush biodiversity, making it the perfect getaway for those looking to relax in a lush natural setting, yet within easy reach of Montpellier's historic centre.

Surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean garden, your family and friends can enjoy a swim in the large swimming pool, and soak up the sun all day long on the large wooden terrace around the pool, with plenty of sun loungers. In front of the house, you can enjoy a large sunny stone terrace equipped with a plancha. Other convivial activities are possible, such as ping-pong or the traditional Provençal game of pétanque, thanks to the professional-quality court in the grounds of the house, which is lit to allow night-time games. In addition, there is a vegetable garden and laying hens behind the house, providing an excellent opportunity for the education and enjoyment of youngsters, and the health of the wiser ones.

The ground floor offers a large, bright living room thanks to its double aspect, accentuated by its light, natural tones. The search for authentic, simple Provencal charm continues in the fully-equipped kitchen, with its clean lines and wood accents, yet with a wealth of equipment.

The master suite is on the ground floor and includes a cross trainer and en-suite shower room. Five further bedrooms and two bathrooms (with showers and baths) are located on the first floor: two doubles and three singles. The decor is airy and modern yet retains a rustic feel, with graceful personal touches such as an original wooden school desk.

Local shops within a 5-minute walk include a bakery, pharmacy, grocery, newsagent and delicatessen. With on-site parking, the region's beaches can be reached in 20 minutes. The Pic Saint Loup attracts visitors for its breathtaking scenery, as do the multitude of nearby mountain caves, traditional medieval villages and open-air markets. For active holidays, the local footpaths are often described as a cyclist's, runner's and hiker's dream, while the local rivers and lakes make picnics and family outings easy. Finally, the region is known for producing some of the most exquisite wines in the whole of Occitanie, which are best enjoyed when accompanied by fresh local produce!
