The villa provided an amazing experience for my wife and I that we will never forget. The location is beautiful and private, with stunning cliff and coastal views of the ocean. We were so blown away by the pictures that we decided to have our wedding there! On the day of our wedding, all of the guests shared our same sentiments, also saying they didn’t know a place like this existed in Barbados. : ) During our stay we enjoyed waking up to the ocean sounds and beautiful sunrise. Gillian and the team at Ronald Stoute were quickly accessible, and consistently took care of our questions in less than 24 hours. Junie the housekeeper was there daily to make sure everything was well maintained for us in the villa. She is a true gem and has the heart of an angel :) A team of gardeners were also present daily, looking after the lush greenery with care and precision. We were pleased with choosing this villa for our holiday and the location for our union. We would highly recommend this villa to others.

There isn't much more to say other than what's been said already by other visitors, but this villa is highly recommended. The grounds are immaculately kept, the views are out of this world, especially from the pool!!! The moon was full for the last week of our stay and the way it lit up the atlantic at night was indescribably beautiful. And Junie, from the first day we were there felt like part of the family. Absolutely unforgettable trip.

We stayed for four consecutive years during early March and found it a most enjoyable experience. Our last stay was for two weeks in 2011.The bungalow is comfortable but the jewel in the crown is the swimming pool that overlooks the Atlantic. It is a spectacular place to swim and play. There is also an entertainment area with a barbecue that is great for a party. The surroundings are beautifully maintained. There is a decent-sized kitchen with a nice refrigerator and stove. Junie, the friendly maid, will do your laundry in the washing machine. The high speed Internet works well as does the telephone. Shopping is a short drive away, either to a smaller local store or a North American style supermarket as Six Roads. A small “deli,” called Cutters, is also a short drive away. They have excellent flying fish sandwiches and a stock of wine if you happen to run out. For fancier fare, the Crane Resort and condo complex is also a short drive away. All-in-all, this villa is a bargain and eminently suitable for a family vacation and excellent value. My wife and I enjoyed it immensely. Our grandchildren and their parents rent another Stoutes property nearby and the kids definitely prefer our pool. It is away from the tourist hustle and bustle on Bridgetown side of the island. Astra is also close to the airport. The property manager, Lynn, is most helpful as is the rest of the Stoutes staff. We rented a vehicle from the same firm but we avoid driving at night, except on familiar routes. Driving on the left is a challenge for the first few days. We expect to return in the future.
