Overview
Sitting at the head of its own private valley, Eastacott Barton offers spacious accommodation, privacy and wonderful walks through the mown meadows, woodland and numerous lakes. Eastacott Barton is ideal for those who want a peaceful and rural location. Located about 8 miles from the coast, it provides an excellent location for exploring the delights of North Devon.

There are two holiday cottages, which have been converted from Victorian stone built barns. Both barn conversions, (Stable and Harebell) have three ensuite bedrooms. Stable has significantly larger receptions rooms, which can comfortably cater for 12 people, allowing a single group to take both properties. The properties were extensively remodeled and refurbished in 2013.

Parking is available.
A maximum of two well behaved dogs are very welcome.
We operate a no smoking policy.
Mobile phone reception is generally very good. Free WiFi is provided.

Outside
Extensive gardens are all around the property. There is a large paved patio area with teak furniture and barbecue. A small lake (stocked trout) is approx 50 feet south of the patio. Extensive grounds comprising of meadows, woodland and lakes (in all 27 acres) is available to guests.

Stable
The accomodation offers two bedrooms on the first floor and one bedroom on the ground floor. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and zip and link beds which can be configured as two singles or one superking.
The sitting and dining areas can comfortably accommodate 12.
The sitting room/lounge has four, three seater sofas together with a number of low coffee tables. There is a 50" Plasma TV, a DVD/home cinema player and a wood burning stove.
The kitchen/diner is equipped with a range cooker with two ovens, fridge-freezer-wine cooler, central island, iPod dock, dining table, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle.
The utility area is incorporated into the hall. There is a standard size washing machine and condensing drier.

Harebell
There are three ensuite bedrooms, all on the first floor, two are doubles and one is a twin.
The sitting room/lounge has four soft chairs and a two seater sofa together with a number of low coffee tables. There is a widescreen 32 inch digital television and a DVD player.
The dining area is located in the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a range cooker with two ovens, fridge freezer, central island, kitchen table, kettle.
The utility room has a standard size washing machine and condensing drier.

Given the rural location of Eastacott Barton, we would suggest that a car is essential.
