The Garden House.....
is the newest addition to the Sunset Valley Holiday Houses resort, a collection of beautiful traditional Malay houses, most of which were found on Langkawi Island, purchased from their owners, dismantled and then re-constructed on-site with modern kitchens and bathrooms. This resort is located in the centre of the island at the foot of the tallest mountain in Langkawi, Gunung Raya. The property overlooks gorgeous rice-paddies with the island’s oldest geological formation, the Gunung Matchincang mountain range, the first part of South-East Asia to rise from the seabed in the Cambrian period more than half a billion years ago, in the distance. Spectacular sun-sets are guaranteed with this marvellous backdrop. If you are looking for peace and tranquillity and yearn to commune with nature in a lovely, green, landscaped environment, this is the perfect place for your next vacation.

The Garden House is beautifully located, over-looking the swimming pool and the rice-paddies with the ancient and spectacular mountain range in the background. The main room comprises a sleeping area with a canopied queen-size bed and a very comfortable couch that easily converts into another double bed. Adjacent to the sleeping area is a beautiful modern bathroom with twin wash basins, a toilet, urinal, toilet shower and a large shower area complete with a rain-shower in addition to the regular shower.
A large wardrobe and a luggage/shoe rack divides this area from a lovely small kitchen with a gas cook-top and a Hitachi refrigerator/freezer together with all of the other appliances, crockery and cutlery you will need should you wish to cook your own meals. The kitchen area adjoins a spacious lounge area leading to a stunning veranda a few steps lower with tables and chairs giving a fabulous view of the spectacular sunsets every day! As with all of our delightful holiday houses air-conditioning is available as an optional extra but is rarely needed.

The property has a covered car-park, swimming pool and a comfortable pavilion lounge perfect for a BBQ and a drink or two to relax and enjoy the magnificent sunsets.

Car, motorbike and bicycle rental can be easily arranged. We can also arrange many activities for you. Let us know your preferences and we will find the perfect outing to fulfil your dreams. Many of these activities include free pick-up and drop-off at Sunset Valley for your ultimate enjoyment.
