The cottage has been immaculately restored to retain all of its original character, whilst the decoration gives a tasteful modern feel. The private heated swimming pool on the terrace is a real sun trap and the covered patio is perfect for evening parties. Sarlat has many food festivals and markets offering black truffles, duck, goose and wines from Bergerac, as well as history including prehistoric caves and ancient châteaux. The area offers numerous sports activities: 7 golf courses across the Dordogne, over 2000km of cycling, horse riding, ballooning (Carsac) and climbing (Castelnaud).
