With huge fireplaces, a lovely old-style kitchen and original stone tiled floors, this is an exceptional holiday property and only a few miles from the town of Cubjac. Close by is the river Auvézére which has a beach and canoeing. The large trendy town of Périgueux is less than half an hour's drive and is full of shops, busy cafés and restaurants offering free evening concerts as well as markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Horse riding can be found at Cornille and there is horse riding and a good restaurant to be found at Haras of Cornille. Do not miss a visit to the gardens at the Château of Hautefort.
