Situated in an attractive hilltop hamlet, this large, stone, converted holiday barn with outbuildings surrounds an attractive shady courtyard. It has a private swimming pool with both covered and sunny terraces and very pleasant views over fields, forest and beyond. The pretty garden has a rough-mown orchard. Sauveterre is a 6 minute drive with a restaurant, local shops and tennis court. Villefranche-du-Périgord has more shops and is a 15 minute drive. Visit some lovely little bastide towns such as Monflanquin, with small shops, cafés and restaurants, or the better known Monpazier with its arcaded square, both within 30 minutes' drive. It is 30km to the Dordogne Valley for many interesting châteaux - Biron and Bonaguil are fascinating and Beynac has a stunning location overlooking the river. There is a high wire forest adventure course called Parc-en-Ciel, a 20 minute drive. The River Lot and its gorges lies to the south. Cahors, 50km, and Puy-l'Evêque, 30km, are both well worth a visit.
