This recently renovated apartment is the newest one to join the Istanbul Sweet Home family. It's a one bedroom flat to host a maximum of 3 people with a L shaped couch that turns into a sofa bed for one person in addition to the double bed in the bedroom.

The building is situated in the Galata-Beyoglu area, less than 5 minutes walk from Istiklal Street and 15-20 minutes walk to Taksim Square , which can be considered the heart of Istanbul , where the major culture & art centers are located, with many charming cafes, restaurants and stores...

The living room has an open kitchen, dining table and chairs provided with satelite TV at the seating area. The living room and the bedroom are air-condititoned. You may even enjoy a view of Bosphorus.

Galata and Beyoglu (Pera) are two of the oldest districts of Istanbul . There are plenty of historical buildings, churches, mosques, synagogues, and old embassy buildings in this neighbourhood, a neighbourhood which has been associated with the foreigners living in the city for many centuries. The Galata Tower, Kilic Ali Pasha Mosque, Galata Mevlevihanesi (the lodge used by Whirling Mevlevi Dervishes / Sufis) and the Tophane Cannon Foundry are only a few that are not more than 5-10 minutes walk from the apartment.

From our apartment, one can also reach the Sultanahmet area (where the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are located) in ca. 20 minutes using the new tram line from Karakoy, though some of our guests prefer to wander to Sultanahmet via Karakoy, the Galata Bridge and Eminönü where the Egyptian Spice Market is located.

The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk from Istiklal Street and 15-20 minutes walk from Taksim Square, which can be considered the heart of Istanbul, where the major culture & art centres, theatre and movie halls are located, with many charming cafes, restaurants, and stores...By staying in a building located in a residential street of Beyoglu, you can easily join in the night life of Istanbul whilst avoiding the noise and crowds.

Metro City , Kanyon and Cevahir shopping malls are within 10-15 minutes from Taksim square using the new metro line .

Coast & Boats

10 minutes walk from our apartment will take you to the Karakoy Port where boats leave to the Kadýköy and Üsküdar districts on the Asian shore of Istanbul . It is also very easy to go by tram from Karaköy or funicular from Taksim to the fast ferry port in Kabatas to reach the Princes' Islands .
