Very tastefully and well-furnished holiday home, 15m from the beach on a little hillside and with a panoramic view over the Fusafjord, where the fishing is good. There are forest roads, culture trails, iron-age burial sites, and in late summer there are many mushrooms and berries. The owners are interested in the environment, ecology and local traditions, and have converted a 100 year old barn into a cosy restaurant and pub for the village. In 2013 this restaurant was hand-picked to represent Fjord Norway and its food culture at "Internationale Grüne Woche" in Berlin, one of the world´s largest food and travel fairs. Possible to hire a pony and trap and other equipment for horse riding on forest trails and mountain paths. Car tours to the Hanseatic city of Bergen, to Lysen island, the Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord. Neighbouring house 30 m. 2x single-kayaks & 1x double-kayak rentable (common with N19243). Extra boat/engine can be rented. The house is NOT suited for anglers.
