The beach/dune area next to the gas fire pit is a perfect spot to watch last light fade into another star filled night. Easily, the most beautiful Villa in the enclave. We have rented high end villas in the south of France, Mexico, Costa del Sol in Spain, Connecticut, Umbria, etc. This property is top quality throughout. Clearly designed by a first class architect and landscape architect, and professionally decorated for its owners (not renters), each bedroom is a suite, with its own upscale bathroom, every detailed thought out to give a feeling of luxury and tranquility, from the linens right down to the L'Occitane bath products and unique art in each room. Having total privacy, surrounded by in internal courtyard of ponds with carp, turtles and flowering lotus plants, 2 pools and 2 jacuzzi's, several interesting water sculptures and the ocean at your finger tips, there is a feeling of serenity and privilege to be in such artistic and aesthetic surroundings. The St. Regis and Four Seasons beach clubs, restaurants, golf and tennis are all at your finger tips (Sufi restaurant at sunset is highly recommended for a romantic dinner). Perfect for extend family vacations, boys or girls trips while at the same time the master, having its own wing, pool and jacuzzi affords privacy and romance from the group. The friendly house staff cooked us several elegant dinners, a nice option so that you don't have to leave the compound, and kept the grounds and rooms pristine. Wonderful indoor-outdoor space with excellent music system is perfect central point for casual socializing, eating and drinking, hopping in and out of the pools, watching the waves during the day, and seeing the wine colored skies and spectacular sunsets every evening. There are plenty of utilitarian homes to rent in Punta Mita with ocean views, with renters furniture and tacky art - this place is several levels above - a villa that effortlessly blends modern architecture and materials, with nature, luxury and privacy to create a unique artistic compound so that you when you walk in the front door, you feel like you have arrived in Shangrila. This is the kind of villa you search for, the aesthetic you search for, and once found you keep coming back because, as my discriminating wife said, "it doesn't get any better than this, this is the end of the rainbow".

If you are a surfer, Elfaro Point Break is just steps away from this home. If you are a fisherman, this is the place to be for dorado, amber jack, red snapper, white marlin, blue marlin, jack crevale, yellow fin tuna and bonita. If you fly fish, bring your equipment and flies with you, as the locals do not have the tackle. I took a panga out from Accion Tropical and showed him where to put the boat and I did the rest, catching bonita on the fly. If you golf, there are two world class golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, just steps away from this home at the Four Seasons Resort. The local restaurants are fantastic with a few exceptional ones very close to this home. The Four Seasons, Sufi, Si Senoir, and Margarita's. I am booking again for next year and would recommend this property to anyone interested.
