I spent 2 days at the hotel at the beginning of my honeymoon and previously to a 5 day trip to the Galapagos Islands. The hotel has a vintage vibe that feels as if taken straight from an old swiss village. The restaurant is pretty decent, which is a way of saying it is not the hotel's core selling point. This is a great location for travelers who need to be close to the airport and wish to have a great taste of Ecuador's sightseeing and awesome landscapes. I don't have kids, but from what I could tell the place is kid friendly and has a pretty good service by the owners.
