This lovely detached holiday home has been beautifully restored to provide very comfortable and roomy accommodation. As well as the downstairs double bedroom with en-suite, you also have three other sleeping areas, one twin with its own en-suite and its own private stairs from the living room. An attractive mezzanine kingsize bedroom is accessed from a second set of stairs, from the magnificent high vaulted living/dining room, and from the main staircase you have two more large bedrooms. Outside there are two large terraces and a large enclosed swimming pool with hot and cold shower and an enclosed, mature garden, ideal for children. The private house really has everything and being in the countryside of Deux-Sevres, you have several local villages and weekly markets. The region has many chateaux, renaissance churches and abbeys, and Atlantic beaches within easy reach. Golf and horse riding locally. Fly to Poitiers or La Rochelle. The house is also ideal for staying in the winter with part underfloor heating, full central heating and a lovely wood-burner, perfect for family get-togethers in the festive season.
